Color Me Tagged

Stephen over at Undeception has tagged me with a Bible meme created by Robert over at Weird Thinkers. If you are like me and had to go look up what a meme is, then do not fret for I have already done the research for you. Anyway hopefully this will help you learn a little something more about me.

1. What translation of the Bible do you like best? I am not too picky but if you held me down with a dull razor to my throat and forced an answer out of me it would probably be NKJV

2. Old or New Testament? Hard to say. Depends on what I’m studying

3. Favorite Book of the Bible? I suppose it would have to be James because he’s a tough preacher and I can dig it.

4. Favorite Chapter? If I am going for most encouraging I’d say Romans 8 but if I were going for most interesting to read I would say Matthew 24, and if I were going for most challenging I would say Revelation 20 (because I have a hard time getting my head around it, but that’s part of the fun).

5. Favorite Verse? 2 Corinthians 5:21

6. Bible character you think you’re most like? Herod. Ok, just kidding. I don’t know. Maybe some of you can tell me.

7. One thing from the Bible that confuses you? The meaning of Jesus’ remark to the Syrophoenician woman in Mattew 15:26

8. Moses or Paul? Paul, I guess. I’m not sure what the question is

9. A teaching from the Bible that you struggle with or don’t get? the gift of tongues as discussed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 14

10. Coolest name in the Bible? Dorcas

Now I believe the common practice is for me to herein “tag” another person (or other persons) who will in turn answer these questions on his/her blog if they want to. This isn’t like those emails where you have to send them to 84 people or you will have to spend an extra 37 years in purgatory or some garbage like that.

And just for fun I will tag two people: Matt at Shared Ignorance and Heather over at Number Your Paper.
